Thank you Stefan.

I'm so touched that someone in Sweden is reading my blog.

I think all the Baha'i temples are considered wonders of the world... not only for the structure but due to the fact that they are so unique and that they represent world unity.

Good stuff Katie. I have included your blog as a link and look forward to hearing more of what you think. I didn't mean that to sound like a poem, but it did kind of anyway.

Yes, this is very relevant to me, and highlights some points that have been difficulties for me for the last few months; lack of control, of self, of life, of relationships. Having to learn to have faith and trust in God, when to do so involves the fear of the pain of letting go of attachments which from a human point of view, though not a Divine point of view, seem to be crucial for the continuance of physical life, and being conscious that this human perception seems irrational, instinctive, unspiritual, bordering on the insane, though so powerful as to be on the edge of irresistible. I feel that the laughter, joing anf humour and light-hearted joyousness of this blogging weekend has been a good antidote to taking myself too seriously, and to worrying about things I can neither figure out or do anything about. As the Christians say, as I remind people ALL THE TIME, Let Go and Let God", even though I've been brought up to anticipate Fire and Brimstone, I feel that the love and acceptance of me by the Baha'is gives me some resasurance that God will not necessarily "slay" me for daring to desire someone else's love after all. Phew! That's a relief!" What's really important? I dunno! Try to be happy and smile, NO MATTER WHAT! Rely on Him, Maybe are these the most imprtant things in life? Not searching for the truth? Once, having found him, let Him take over? Learning about these spiritual truths and putting all the instincts of self, survival and protecting self's interests in His hands? To a human, intellectual and secular point of view, such an attitude to life seems crazy, especially when their seemed no warmth or love in my real love up to now, in my perception, anyway. Only being with the Baha'is has melted my heart, and assured me that God isn't "going to kill me!" And It's taken years and years! Better late than never! Detachment? Well, maybe one day? Little by little, day by day!
